    Wow so similar and amazed.....would love to see any pictures possibly of Alfred Heckel HIngerty from Virginia....he is my great great great grandpa and would really love to see him?

    The ears are striking. I have heard reference to Harrington ears, but these are the exact same. I will have to send you the photos. Ger Harrington, Cork, Ireland

Irish census 1901 and 1911 There was one other Hingerty family listed in the 1901 and 1911 census- however, you would be forgiven for not finding them at first glance, as they were registered as HARRINGTON. (Daughter Johanna is missing from the 1911 Census- where is she????) A previous blogpost looked at Martin Hingerty/Harrington and his shift to and fro with his surname/s in the Census and across other records.
